What was the most useful part of the class?
- The Realtor [Chris Bettin] really helped me understand all the vocabulary thrown around. I now feel like I can at least have an intelligent conversation about buying my house.
- Getting different explanations – I loved hearing from the Realtor about how he works and what to watch for.
- I found answers to many of my questions that other Realtors have avoided in the past. This Realtor really told it how it is.
- The Realtor here in the class helped me realize how to not get emotional about the purchase. I never would have thought about that side before.
- Talking about the contract and all the moving pieces you have to keep track of. The Realtor did a good job breaking it down into parts my wife and I can follow and do during our busy lives with our kids.
- The blunt, honest and realistic facts involved with buying a house
- Chris from the real estate company
- The presentation from the real estate agent was very informative. It gave me ideas to look for and things to avoid.
- The little, side tips on buying.
- All of it was great, but I really appreciate all the speakers giving up their day to come help us.
- The trainers were very helpful in all aspects and I appreciate their accessibility and availability even after the class is over.
- The Realtor was funny and made everything understandable. You can tell that he knows what he’s doing. I just hope I get to work with someone as good as him. It was professional and fun.
- I came to this class thinking that I wouldn’t use a real estate agent because I’ve heard such bad things. But this class really made me feel like I could trust a realtor and that it would provide real value and help me afford more.
What are your next steps:
- Call Chris and ask him what to do
- I feel prepared to make an offer an house
- I need to find a new real estate agent. I know Chris doesn’t work with us but I’d like to find someone like him.
General Comments:
- I wish I would have taken this class earlier so I could have applied the information to my situation. Maybe then I wouldn’t have ended up in a contract fiasco.
- Everyone should take this class – no matter how many times they’ve bought a house. It should be a requirement for anyone buying a home – the lender and realtor really taught me how to do and not feel like I’m going to make a mistake.
- This was a spectacular class and an invaluable asset to our community.
- Thank you so much – I really did not have much hope of affording a home until this program came along. I don’t know how you get such great people to come and help us with this process. You are all so sincerely helpful. I feel that this course has given me the confidence to buy and dispelled a lot of fears by empowering me with the knowledge I need from the true experts in the field. My dream will now become a reality in Durango!
